Serengeti Foundation

Land Conservation Projects

The Serengeti Foundation has two primary land conservation projects in the USA.

The largest is our 5,000-acre Sierra Foothills reserve in Fresno
County.  It sits in the growth Corridor between the San Joaquin Valley and the National Parks.

The Foundation also protects a 160-acre mountain site just outside of Missoula, Montana.  The parcel site within 8 miles of University of Montana and the new 'mini-high-tech' corridor of Missoula, in an area undergoing rapid residential development.

Elephants

Unfortunately, there is no shortage of elephants in need of rescue. The Serengeti Foundation is currently working to secure the freedom of these elephants Haven thier home.
